The solid angle of a radiation from the cavity is limited by the optical baffle with the aperture diaphragm with a diameter of 8 mm. Ga cell consists of a Teflon cavity, which is inserted into a Teflon case. The Ga cell is hermetically sealed by O-ring, which is fixed by a nut.
The Ga cell is inserted into a closely fitting thick walled copper block, which is used to provide a uniform temperature field.
Copper tube is reeled-up and soldered around the heat exchanger. Vacuum insulation of an internal volume of the radiating cavity from the heat-exchanger internal volume permits to evacuate these volumes independently.
